Soul Kitchen is a coloring book depicting everyday objects and invented shapes. I made these drawings during the pandemic with the aim to register my home observations during the lockdown. Strange combinations took place in my home where my six-year-old kid lived with me: toy lizards were taped on the slide in the living room, iron met drawing materials on the kitchen table, and so on. Instead of cleaning up, I started noticing and acknowledging these combinations. I began drawing them on small papers and rather than trying to go to the studio, I brought my studio home.
Later these drawings were turned into a coloring book. Drawings are placed in a multifunctional corrugated cardboard folder with a carrying handle produced by Mukao. This folder can be turned into an easel and a wall pocket.
Mukao creates innovative products from corrugated cardboard. The products of Mukao have refined designs and are made of certified eco-friendly raw materials. Production takes place in Georgia.
